Submission of the audit report in the AKPONNA case
On July 31, 2025, the Special Verification Commission set up by the French High Commission for the Prevention of CorruptionHCPC) submitted its report to Mr. Jacques Acheffon MIGAN, High Commissioner.
This commission, set up on July 1, 2025, worked for a month on issues relating to water and energy projects in the city of Parakou, following public accusations by former minister Paulin AKPONNA against his predecessor.
The High Commissioner indicated that the report's conclusions would be made public in due course.
